Tanner Cristando is a current student at Pacific College of Health and Science, where he is pursuing a graduate degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He currently holds an undergraduate degree from UC Davis in Health Sciences. After graduating from UC Davis, Tanner went on to work as an EMT working in emergency medicine. His background in Healthcare and health sciences pushed him to pursue a graduate degree in Acupuncture to further his understanding of the human body and how it can heal itself. Tanner’s background in collegiate sports helped him develop working knowledge of the physiological systems of the human body. He sought out a career with Activemed due to our involvement in Orthopedic Acupuncture and to better understand our holistic approach to integrative health.

Tanner is currently working as an assistant to Matt Alavi, as well as working as a technician for our Axon Therapy Machine. Tanner will be graduating toward the end of Fall 2026, where he plans on taking his board exams and beginning his career in the field of Acupuncture.
