FAQs About detoxification
- We use “detoxification” as a structured recharge plan that supports hydration, recovery, and routines. We don’t claim we can “flush toxins” from a healthy body—our organs already handle detox processes daily.
- We use an individualized, physician-supervised protocol that can combine IV therapy with a glutathione push, infrared sauna therapy, cold therapy, PEMF mat therapy, electrolytes, and activated charcoal, with optional add-ons.
- We separate the terms: “medical detox” usually refers to supervised drug/alcohol withdrawal management. Our detoxification program is a wellness protocol and is not a substitute for withdrawal care or emergency treatment.
- We may be a fit when we want structured recovery support after travel, a late night, or higher stress, or when we want a guided reset of hydration, sleep, and routines using supervised modalities.
- We get clearance if we’re pregnant, have kidney/heart conditions, blood pressure instability, diabetes on medication, or prior fainting/electrolyte issues. We treat screening as part of safe program design.
- We don’t rely on juice cleanses as proven toxin-removal. We align around evidence-based habits—hydration, whole foods, fiber, and sleep—because detox claims are often marketed without strong proof.
- We use IV therapy primarily for hydration/electrolyte support when appropriate, not as a “miracle cleanse.” We match the protocol to goals and risk factors instead of using one IV menu for everyone.
- We describe glutathione as a naturally occurring antioxidant involved in cellular redox balance. We may include it in an IV protocol, but we keep claims conservative and prioritize safety and individualized indications.
- We treat sterile injectables seriously. FDA has highlighted adverse events linked to compounded injectable glutathione in certain contexts, so we prioritize medical oversight, sourcing, and conservative use over hype-driven protocols.
- We don’t sell saunas as “toxin removal.” We use infrared sauna therapy for heat exposure, relaxation, and recovery support, while treating hydration and heat tolerance as the practical priorities.
We treat dehydration and dizziness risk as the big ones. We hydrate before/after, keep sessions time-limited, and stop if we feel lightheaded or nauseated. We also adjust if medical history raises heat risk.
- We treat cold therapy as a stressor, not a harmless trend. Risks include hypothermia and skin/nerve injury if overdone, and we use extra caution with cardiovascular or circulation concerns.
- We position PEMF mat therapy as a comfort and recovery modality within a broader plan, not as “toxin extraction.” Evidence varies by use case, so we avoid sweeping claims and track response.
- We use caution because activated charcoal can bind oral medications and reduce absorption. We avoid it around prescription timing and skip it entirely when medication interaction risk outweighs potential benefit.
- We expect the earliest wins to be “signal improvements” like hydration, sleep steadiness, and recovery—not guaranteed dramatic outcomes. We do best when we define measurable goals and refine the plan as we respond.
