Dr. Amy Rodriguez
Dr. Amy Rodriguez’s achievement of her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from Pacific College of Health and Science marked the beginning of a transformative journey, evolving from a curiosity about acupuncture and herbal medicine into a dedicated mission to promote healing and holistic wellness for herself and others. Through her rigorous academic training, which encompassed over 3,000 hours of didactic and clinical education, Dr. Amy developed advanced skills in acupuncture techniques, herbal medicine formulation, cupping, moxibustion, and integrative patient care, while deepening her understanding of the interconnectedness of energy, mind, and soul in health. Her clinical externship at Rady Children’s Hospital allowed her to apply these skills in a compassionate medical environment, treating pediatric patients, their families, and hospital staff for conditions such as pain, anxiety, and stress related disorders, further honing her ability to provide empathetic, patient centered care. Additionally, her externship at UCSD’s RIMAC athletic facility focused on sports related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, enhancing her expertise in pain management, functional recovery, and rehabilitation through acupuncture and related modalities. This comprehensive training and hands-on experience solidified Dr. Amy’s role as a skilled healer, equipped to guide patients toward optimal health and well being.
Dr. Amy blends the ancient wisdom of Eastern medicine with modern clinical expertise, creating a practice rooted in balance, restoration, and long term wellness. Her focus on cosmetic and sports acupuncture helps patients relieve chronic pain, prevent injuries, and enhance natural vibrancy by reducing fine lines, improving skin health, and revitalizing facial vitality.
Dr. Amy completed 146 hours of specialized training in cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation modalities, including gua sha, microneedling, facial cupping, massage, and face reading, through the Facial Applications for Cosmetic Enhancement (FACE) program at Pacific College of Health and Science, led by Shelly Goldstein. She earned a certificate of completion that further enhances her ability to support skin health and facial vitality through a holistic lens. Her clinical experience also includes treating sleep disturbances, hormonal imbalances, menstrual irregularities, migraines, TMJ, and mental emotional concerns, helping patients overcome obstacles and reconnect with their path to wellness.
