Brita TiikL.Ac., DACM, MD

    Brita has been involved in the medical field for over fifteen years having been trained in both eastern and western medicine.

    She is proud to be a third-generation Chinese medicine practitioner, who graduated with a doctorate degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in San Diego. Alongside interning at the PCOM clinic she had the privilege of treating UCSD athletes at RIMAC athletic center as well as veterans in a community acupuncture setting. Brita likes using various modalities of Chinese medicine, including body, ear, and scalp acupuncture, acupressure, electrical stimulation with acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, Tui Na and herbs.

    As a medical doctor and radiologist, she has many years of experience in the hospital setting as well as with teleradiology. In addition, she has participated in academic research, been a team physician for athletes, and taken part in numerous international conferences and internships.

    In her spare time, Brita enjoys outdoor and sporting activities, hiking with her dog, and good food.
